I. Introduction

Y-612 resin is a colorless transparent tackifying resin developed by Wuxi Zhiyuan Chemical Co., Ltd. for the nail-free adhesive industry. It offers excellent tackifying effects, a colorless transparent appearance, and very good color stability. It is compatible with various elastomers and resins, soluble in a variety of solvents, and has been widely used in various nail-free adhesives.

Y-612 resin is widely used in various nail-free adhesives as a tackifier and reinforcing agent. It has the following effects:

(1) Improves bonding strength and toughness;

(2) Enhances the transparency of the adhesive system;

(3) Improves the heat resistance of the adhesive system;

(4) Improves the yellowing resistance of the adhesive and reduces the color depth of the adhesive system;

(5) Enhances cohesion;

(6)Adjusts open time and setting time;

(7) Prevents the precipitation of naphthenic oil;

(8)Has almost no effect on initial tack.

IV. Recommended Usage

Y-612 resin is recommended at a dosage of: 5---15% , and the amount of petroleum resin can be appropriately reduced.
