Due to long-term operation in harsh environments, equipment components are prone to corrosion and wear, making them susceptible to failure. Many of these shaft parts are expensive, involve a wide variety of components, have complex shapes, and operate under different conditions, necessitating reinforcement or repair.
(1) Pre-treatment Process: Includes degreasing and derusting the workpiece surface → sandblasting (further cleaning) → pre-treatment before cladding (cleaning the area to be laser clad, leveling areas with obvious defects);
(2) Quality Inspection Procedure: Use magnetic particle inspection, X-ray inspection, fluorescent penetrant inspection, or developer inspection to examine the cleaned surface and identify any obvious defect areas.
(3) Laser Cladding: Utilizes self-developed alloy powder for laser cladding, requiring no preheating, producing no metallurgical cracks, and achieving a hardness of up to HRC63.
(4) Post-processing: Polishing and finishing the laser-clad area, along with subsequent treatments; applying wear-resistant coatings if necessary.
(5) Quality Inspection and Acceptance: The inspection method is the same as in step 2. Acceptance can proceed once the part surface is confirmed to be defect-free after laser cladding treatment. After the above process, shaft parts can be restored to like-new condition.
