I. Product Features and Description
The primary function of an LTCC duplexer (also known as a Low-Temperature Co-fired Ceramic Laminated Duplexer) is to isolate the received signal from the transmitted signal, ensuring that both reception and transmission can operate normally simultaneously, and preventing the local signal from being transmitted to the receiver. The duplexer is essentially composed of two bandpass filters, which use filtering to distinguish the frequency range of input or output signals, thereby ensuring that two different signal sources do not interfere with each other, and it has bandwidth control capability. Another function of the LTCC duplexer is to allow two different signal sources to share the same transmission medium, enabling communication tasks to be completed within a limited space and improving communication efficiency.
The production process technology of LTCC duplexers involves using low-temperature sintering ceramic powder technology and embedding multiple passive components into multilayer ceramic substrates, followed by surface mounting of ICs and active components, thus creating a module with integrated active/passive functions. In addition to various filter architectures, miniaturization integration advantages, and more flexible design features, LTCC duplexers also offer input/output 50Ω impedance matching (75Ω requires special specification), ease of cascading use; stable and reliable performance across the full temperature range, meeting operational environmental requirements (-55℃ to +85℃), with advantages such as high suppression, high isolation, wide bandwidth, low insertion loss, good thermal stability, low temperature coefficient, surface mounting, small size, light weight, easy soldering, and low cost.

III. Precautions and Applications
LTCC duplexers are widely used in radio stations, broadcasting, radar, navigation, electronic countermeasures, routers, mobile phone signal amplifiers, and other RF circuits. In radar or satellite communications, duplexers enable simultaneous transmission and reception of signals, improving communication efficiency. They are typically used to distinguish the frequencies of transmitted and received signals and have bandwidth control capabilities. During use, it is important to ensure that the grounding terminal is properly grounded; otherwise, out-of-band suppression and flatness indicators may be affected. When soldering, it is best to use the recommended temperature, which should not be too high, and the time should not be too long. If reflow soldering is used, it is recommended to use the recommended temperature; wave soldering is not advisable. Products should be stored in a warehouse with an ambient temperature of -10℃ to 40℃, relative humidity not exceeding 80%, and free of acidic, alkaline, or other harmful gases in the surrounding environment. It is recommended to clean with alcohol.
