Calcium hypochlorite

Applications:

Mainly used in bleaching, industrial wastewater treatment, papermaking, textiles, pharmaceuticals, fine chemicals, sanitary disinfection, and many other fields, specifically:

1. For bleaching pulp, textiles (such as cloth, towels, T-shirts, etc.), chemical fibers, and starch;

2. Used as a bleaching agent for fats and oils in the soap industry;

3. Used in the chemical industry for the production of hydrazine, monochloramine, and dichloramine;

4. Used as a chlorinating agent in the production of cobalt and nickel;

5. Used as a water purifier, bactericide, and disinfectant in water treatment;

6. Used in the dye industry for the production of sulfur brilliant blue;

7. Used in the organic industry for the production of chloropicrin and as a cleaning agent in the hydration of calcium carbide to produce acetylene;

8. Used as a disinfectant and deodorant in agriculture and animal husbandry for vegetables, fruits, farms, and livestock pens;

9. Food-grade sodium hypochlorite is used for disinfecting drinking water, fruits, and vegetables, and for sterilizing food manufacturing equipment and utensils. However, it must not be used in the production process of sesame-based foods.
