They are installed on the straight tuyere of the blast furnace, and their main task is to connect the pulverized coal injection lance. When the pulverized coal injection lance is inserted into the blast furnace, these ball valves will automatically open; when the pulverized coal injection lance is pulled out from the tuyere of the blast furnace, the steel balls inside the ball valves will automatically close under the action of the pressure in the blast furnace and their own gravity, effectively controlling the overflow of hot gas in the furnace.

In terms of the connection method between the pulverized coal injection lance and the ball valve, we have adopted a unique quick-install chuck design. When the pulverized coal injection lance is inserted into the tuyere of the blast furnace from the inner hole of the quick-install chuck seat of the ball valve, the internal steel balls will be pushed up by the lance, and a quick connection is achieved between the quick-connect chuck fixed on the pulverized coal injection lance and equipped with sealing packing and the chuck seat of the ball valve. This design not only improves operation efficiency, but also provides a solid guarantee for the stability and safety of the equipment.
