A gem of structural design, it serves as the key component in the blast furnace pulverized coal injection system that distributes pulverized coal evenly to the blast furnace tuyeres. The new type of pulverized coal distributor developed by our company draws on the essence of various traditional distributors and integrates advanced foreign technologies.
This distributor features a conical structure, far surpassing the old-style bottle-type, disc-type and ball-type distributors. Traditional bottle-type and disc-type distributors mostly have horizontally distributed branch pipes, while the pulverized coal injection system relies on air flow pressure for transportation, which causes significant equipment wear. Previous distributors either had a throat structure with large resistance, or unreasonable inner cavity design leading to obvious pulsation during pulverized coal passage and unstable coal injection volume, or uneven distribution and severe equipment wear.
Today's product is the perfect solution to the above problems. It consists of a main pipe, a conical main body and various branch pipes. The branch pipes are evenly distributed above the cone at angles of either 90 degrees or 120 degrees, both demonstrating exquisite craftsmanship. The coal injection branch pipes (such as 8, 10, 12, etc.) are evenly arranged around the distributor body, with one end connected to the coal conveying main pipe and the other end connected to the pulverized coal lance.
This product is made of carbon steel with precise craftsmanship and high geometric accuracy. The conical inner cavity design is both simple and ingenious, with small volume, light weight and convenient maintenance. Its inner cavity design is unique: the outlet area of each branch pipe is similar to the area of the inlet channel. When high-pressure gas-solid flow enters the inner cavity, a strong vortex is formed, which tightly wraps the pulverized coal and distributes it silently to each branch pipe. This design not only reduces pulsation during transportation and ensures stable and reliable injection, but also achieves the ideal flow rate for users, and further ensures that the pulverized coal flows without vortex or pulsation.
This distributor achieves remarkable precision in controlling the coal injection volume of tuyeres. Even under large coal injection volume, the error can be controlled within ±3%. This design makes the combustion in the tuyere raceways around the blast furnace hearth more uniform. The flow rate of pulverized coal in the distributor is similar to that in the pipeline, resulting in low wear and long service life. What's more, it abandons the traditional throat structure, greatly reducing resistance loss and effectively avoiding problems such as throat blockage and accuracy degradation caused by uneven wear.
