Pulverized coal distributors are mainly divided into three types: the raised-angle type, the bottle type, and the disc type, each with its unique application scenarios and the ability to adapt to different working conditions.
I. YFPQ Raised-Angle Pulverized Coal Distributor
This distributor is specifically designed for single-pipeline pulverized coal conveying systems in ironmaking coal injection. It is an ideal choice for evenly distributing pulverized coal to multiple pipes at the furnace front. Its outlet design is flexible, capable of branching into 6-35 pipes, and offers three pipe diameter options: 15, 20, and 25. It also provides two connection methods, flange and threaded, for easy installation and maintenance.

Product Description and Structural Features
Our company's new pulverized coal distributor is developed by drawing on the advantages of various previous types of distributors and incorporating advanced foreign technology. This new distributor adopts a conical design and can be considered the next-generation product replacing the old bottle-type, disc-type, and ball-type distributors. The branch pipes of traditional disc-type and bottle-type distributors are usually horizontally distributed. However, since the coal injection system requires a certain pressure of airflow to convey pulverized coal, this causes significant wear on the equipment. To address this issue, our new pulverized coal distributor has been comprehensively optimized.
The distributor mainly consists of a main pipe, a body (including conical, disc, and bottle types), and various branch pipes evenly distributed above the body. Among these, the branch pipes of the conical type are designed with a raised angle (such as 90 degrees or 120 degrees), while the coal injection branch pipes (such as 8, 10, 12, and other specifications) are evenly distributed around the upper part of the distributor body. This design allows the lower end of the distributor to connect to one end of the main coal conveying pipe, while the branch pipes on the upper part connect to individual pulverized coal lances.
The product is manufactured from carbon steel structural components, with precise processing and high geometric accuracy, ensuring the stability and durability of the equipment. The structural design of the conical inner cavity is simple, with a small volume and light weight, making maintenance very convenient. The inner cavity design cleverly utilizes airflow characteristics. When the supplementary high-pressure solid-gas flow enters the inner cavity, it forms a strong vortex that envelops the pulverized coal and evenly distributes it to each branch pipe. This design results in minimal pulsation during conveying, stable and reliable injection, and achieves the user's desired flow rate. More importantly, the pulverized coal flows through the distributor without swirling or pulsation, ensuring stability and uniformity.
Additionally, this distributor excels in controlling the precision of coal injection volume at each tuyere, achieving within ±3% of the large coal injection volume, which fully ensures uniform combustion in the raceway around the blast furnace hearth tuyeres. The flow velocity of the fluid in the pulverized coal distributor is comparable to that in the pipeline, thereby reducing wear and extending the equipment's service life. It is worth mentioning that this coal injection distributor has no throat structure, resulting in low resistance loss and avoiding throat clogging and the decline in distribution accuracy caused by uneven throat wear. This enables our pulverized coal distributor to be suitable for pulverized coal conveying systems under various gas-solid ratios in blast furnace coal injection systems, applicable for both dilute-phase and dense-phase conveying, demonstrating its excellent adaptability and practicality.
