IV. The Art of Fluidized Injection in Metallurgical Blast Furnaces
In the pulverized coal injection process of metallurgical blast furnaces, another fluidized injection device stands out. It utilizes 1Cr18Ni9Ti stainless steel plates with cross-shaped, long narrow slits arranged perpendicular to the centerline. The slit gap is only 0.5mm, with a length of about 20mm and a spacing of 10mm. After a 1×45° chamfer treatment, compressed air is concentrated at the center of the fluidized injection device, enhancing the suspended fluidization effect of the coal powder. This ensures smoother coal powder flow and stabilizes the injection process. This innovative design significantly improves the efficiency and effectiveness of the fluidized injection device.
