XHD100C Series Intelligent Electromagnetic Flowmeter

I. Overview

       The XHD100C series intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter is an electromagnetic induction type flow instrument, integrating signal detection and microelectronic intelligent technology into a high-tech electromechanical product. It can be classified into pipeline type and insertion type based on installation methods, and into field display type (integrated type) and remote display type (split type) based on display methods. It can measure the volume flow of conductive liquid media, including strongly corrosive liquids such as acids, alkalis, and salts, as well as pulp, slurry, wastewater, and solid-liquid two-phase suspensions. The product is widely used in petroleum, chemical, metallurgical, textile, food, pharmaceutical, papermaking industries, and in environmental protection, municipal management, water conservancy construction, river irrigation, and other fields.

II. Measurement Principle

The measurement principle of the XHD100C intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter is based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction: when a conductive liquid moves through a magnetic field, cutting the magnetic lines of force, an induced electromotive force is generated in the conductor. The induced electromotive force E is:

V-----Average flow velocity in the measuring pipe section

When measuring flow, the conductive liquid flows at velocity V through a magnetic field perpendicular to the flow direction. The flow of the conductive liquid induces a voltage proportional to the average flow velocity. The induced voltage signal is detected by two or more electrodes in direct contact with the liquid and transmitted via cable to the converter. Through intelligent processing, it achieves the display of instantaneous flow and cumulative flow, as well as communication and control between flow data and microcomputer systems.
