Agriculture: Phosphoric acid is a raw material for producing important phosphate fertilizers (such as calcium superphosphate, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, etc.) and also for producing feed nutritional supplements (calcium dihydrogen phosphate).
Industry: Phosphoric acid is an important chemical raw material, with main uses as follows:
1. Treating metal surfaces to form insoluble phosphate films that protect metals from corrosion.
2. Mixed with nitric acid as a chemical polishing agent to improve the smoothness of metal surfaces.
3. Production of raw material phosphates for detergents and pesticides.
4. Production of raw materials for phosphorus-containing flame retardants.
