Working Principle of Xinrui Laboratory Ultrapure Water Machine

The working principle of the laboratory ultrapure water machine is that tap water undergoes pretreatment through precision filter cartridges and activated carbon filter cartridges, filtering particles such as sediment and adsorbing odors, making the tap water cleaner. It then goes through a reverse osmosis device for water purification and desalination. The purified water is stored in a storage tank, and its quality can meet the national tertiary water standard. Meanwhile, the wastewater produced by the reverse osmosis device is discharged. Reverse osmosis purified water undergoes deep desalination treatment through a purification column to obtain Grade I water or ultrapure water. Finally, if the user has special requirements, ultraviolet sterilization or microfiltration, ultrafiltration, and other devices are added after the ultrapure water to remove residual bacteria, particles, pyrogens, etc., from the water. Precision filter cartridges, activated carbon filter cartridges, reverse osmosis membranes, and purification columns are materials with a relative lifespan. Precision filter cartridges and activated carbon filter cartridges actually protect the reverse osmosis membrane. If they fail, the load on the reverse osmosis membrane increases, shortening its lifespan. If operation continues, the quality of the produced pure water declines, which in turn increases the burden on the purification column, shortening its lifespan. The ultimate result is an increase in the operating cost of the ultrapure water machine.

Ultrapure water was initially produced using distillation, deionization, reverse osmosis technology, or other appropriate supercritical fine techniques. Today, ultrapure water is widely used in fields such as biology, medicine, and automotive. This water contains almost no impurities other than water molecules (H₂O), and certainly no bacteria, viruses, organic compounds like chlorine dioxins, nor the mineral trace elements required by the human body. Ultrapure water has no hardness, tastes sweet, and is often referred to as soft water. It can be consumed directly or boiled for drinking. Ultrapure water is a level that is difficult to achieve through general processes. For example, if the resistivity of water is greater than 18 MΩ*cm, and close to 18.3 MΩ*cm, it is called ultrapure water.

The desalination core component of the ultrapure water system equipment is an imported reverse osmosis membrane module. The ultrapure water system equipment typically consists of a pretreatment section, a reverse osmosis host section, and a post-treatment section.
