The necessity of central air conditioning maintenance:
To ensure that central air conditioning equipment effectively performs its function, operating efficiently, safely, and energy-efficiently, daily maintenance is crucial. After the chilled water system is put into use, residues such as welding slag, iron filings, mud, and oil left during installation accumulate in the system. Hard substances like welding slag and iron filings adhere to heat exchange surfaces, impairing heat transfer.

Due to contact with air, algae, bacteria, and other microorganisms grow in the cooling tower and pipes. Their remains, combined with sludge, oil, and other debris, adhere to equipment and pipes, affecting water circulation and heat exchange. Additionally, the formation of microorganisms and deposits promotes concentration cell corrosion and under-deposit corrosion, accelerating metal corrosion. The chilled water system, often replenished with tap water through tanks, also experiences these issues.
Long-term operation of central air conditioning equipment causes wires and components to heat up and age, leading to loose or detached connections, poor contact, and phase loss. AC contactors and thermal relays may also develop faults such as poor contact or open circuits.
