XS310-08 24VDC NASS Solenoid Valve

The XSTOU XS310-08 and XS320-08 solenoid valves are used for the electrical control operation of pneumatic valves to "open" or "close". They comply with the NAMUR connection standard and can be directly mounted on the side of pneumatic actuators without the need for tubing connections. Depending on the requirements of the instrumentation control system, single or double solenoid control can be selected. The 5/2-way solenoid valve is paired with double-acting actuators, while the 3/2-way solenoid valve is paired with single-acting actuators. The entire unit is simple, compact, small in size, and has a long service life.

The XSTOU XS310-08 solenoid valve is an automated basic component used to control fluids and belongs to the category of actuators. It is not limited to hydraulic or pneumatic applications. Solenoid valves are used to control the direction of hydraulic flow. In industrial machinery, hydraulic cylinders are commonly controlled, which is why solenoid valves are employed. The working principle of a solenoid valve involves a sealed chamber with openings at different positions, each leading to different oil pipes. In the middle of the chamber is a valve, with electromagnets on both sides. When the coil of one electromagnet is energized, the valve body is attracted to that side. By controlling the movement of the valve body, different oil discharge ports are blocked or opened. The oil inlet port remains normally open, allowing hydraulic oil to enter different discharge pipes. The pressure of the oil then drives the piston of the hydraulic cylinder, which in turn moves the piston rod, and the piston rod drives the mechanical device. Thus, by controlling the current to the electromagnets, mechanical movement is controlled.
