1. Drying requirement: Electrodes must be baked at 300–350°C for 1 hour before use and used immediately after baking.
2. Preheating temperature for carbon steel hardfacing parts: above 300°C; for low-alloy steel hardfacing parts: 400–500°C; for stainless steel hardfacing parts: 600–650°C.
3. It is advisable to use a low current during welding.
4. Low-alloy steel and stainless steel parts must undergo annealing at 700°C after welding.
