Suitable for hardfacing of carbon steel or alloy steel shafts and valves operating at temperatures below 450°C.
A low-hydrogen sodium type coated 1Cr13 valve hardfacing electrode. The deposited metal is 1Cr13 semi-ferritic high chromium steel. The hardfacing layer has air-hardening properties, generally requiring no heat treatment, with uniform hardness. It can also be annealed and softened at 750–800°C. When heated to 900–1000°C and air-cooled or oil-quenched, it can be rehardened.

1. Drying requirement: Electrodes must be baked at 300°C for 1 hour before use and used while warm.
2. Preheat hardfacing components to above 300°C. Post-weld heat treatment can achieve corresponding hardness levels.
