The WGB-631A Microcomputer Transformer Protection Device is a high-performance protection equipment developed by XJ Electric to meet the protection requirements of transformers in power systems.

Functional Features

• Comprehensive Protection Functions: Equipped with multiple protection functions such as three-stage overcurrent protection with composite voltage blocking, overload protection, inverse-time overcurrent protection, and negative-sequence overcurrent protection. It comprehensively addresses various faults that may occur in transformers, such as phase-to-phase short circuits, ground faults, and overloads, effectively ensuring the safe operation of the transformer.
• High-Precision Measurement and Acquisition: Utilizes a 16-bit high-precision A/D converter for data acquisition, with 24 points per cycle, enabling accurate measurement of the transformer's operating parameters such as current, voltage, and power. It provides precise data support for protection actions and fault analysis, with high measurement accuracy that accurately reflects the actual operating state of the transformer.
• User-Friendly Human-Machine Interaction: Features a graphical LCD with a fully Chinese menu-based human-machine interface, displaying various operating states and data in real time. The information is detailed and intuitive, making it convenient for operation and debugging by maintenance personnel, even for non-professionals who can quickly get started.
• Flexible Setting and Switching of Protection Values: Allows independent setting of 8 sets of protection values, with safe and convenient switching between value zones. It enables quick and accurate value switching based on different operating conditions and protection requirements, enhancing the device's adaptability and flexibility.
• Powerful Communication Capabilities: Supports free switching between IEC60870-5-103 and ModBus protocols, equipped with an RS-485 communication interface. It offers economical and convenient networking, enabling direct communication with microcomputer monitoring or protection management systems for remote monitoring, data transmission, and remote debugging.

Technical Performance

• Stable and Reliable Adaptability to Operating Environments: Operating temperature range from -25°C to +55°C, and storage temperature from -25°C to +70°C, allowing it to adapt to various harsh natural environments. It remains stable under conditions where the monthly average maximum relative humidity in the wettest month is 90%, with a monthly average minimum temperature of +25°C and no condensation on the surface, as well as an average maximum humidity not exceeding 50% at a maximum temperature of +40°C.
• Excellent Anti-Interference Performance: Capable of withstanding various anti-interference tests, including pulse group interference tests, fast transient interference tests, and radiated electromagnetic field interference tests. It ensures normal operation in complex electromagnetic environments, unaffected by external interference, guaranteeing the accuracy and reliability of protection actions.
• Good Insulation Performance: The insulation resistance between each live conductive circuit and ground, as well as between AC and DC circuits, should not be less than 100MΩ. It can withstand a dielectric strength test of 50Hz, 2kV (RMS) AC voltage for 1 minute, as well as a standard lightning impulse test of 5kV (peak), demonstrating excellent insulation performance that ensures the safety and stability of the device.
