Dehydration screens are primarily used for dewatering, desliming, and demediation of materials. They can be applied in sand washing at gravel plants, coal slurry recovery in coal preparation plants, and dry tailings discharge in mineral processing plants, hence also known as sand dewatering screens, mining dewatering screens, coal slurry dewatering screens, tailings dewatering screens, etc. They mainly consist of a screen box, vibrator, support system, and motor. Driven by dual vibration motors or vibrators (two standard motors externally driven to rotate in opposite directions synchronously), the screen body performs periodic reciprocating linear motion to achieve grading and dewatering purposes.

5. The feed section of the dewatering screen is equipped with a curved screen surface to improve dewatering efficiency; a feed box is provided to ensure uniform material distribution on the screen surface.
Depending on the application, dewatering screens are categorized into the following types:
1. Coal Slurry Dewatering Screen: Specifically used for desliming, demediation, and dewatering in coal preparation plants. It can recover coal slurry with a particle size of <9mm and is a dedicated device for coal slurry dewatering operations, widely used in coal slurry recovery, filter press coarse separation, filtration coarse separation, and dewatering and recovery of other fine materials.
2. Sand Dewatering Screen: Its main function is sand washing, commonly used in wet sand production lines alongside sand washers, or operated independently. After washing by the sand washer, sand undergoes hydraulic classification, desliming, and fine sand recovery via the sand dewatering screen to achieve reasonable particle size distribution and reduce mud content to below 0.7%.
3. High-Frequency Dewatering Screen: A screening device that enables environmentally friendly utilization of waste materials. It features large processing capacity and excellent dewatering effects, suitable for high-frequency, high-vibration intensity material dewatering and screening.
4. Tailings Dewatering Screen: Widely used in dry tailings discharge and tailings dewatering operations. This machine is particularly suitable for processing fine-grained minerals, used in automatic slag-water separation, dry tailings discharge technology, etc. It can also be combined with cyclones as a tailings dry discharge recovery machine, offering high dewatering efficiency.
