The apron conveyor is a versatile fixed conveying equipment that uses continuously running chains or rollers as traction components and steel plates as the carrying trough. It is suitable for transporting large quantities of bulk materials and heavy individual items. With high traction force, rigid trough plates, and impact resistance, it is ideal for conveying hot, large-sized, highly abrasive, and heavy castings or forgings, as well as bulk materials or packaged items. It can transport various bulk materials and packaged items horizontally or on an incline and is also used in assembly lines for moving packaged items. Additionally, it can handle high-temperature materials up to around 600°C. The apron conveyor is widely applied in industries such as chemical, machinery, metallurgy, coal, mining, power, foundry, automotive manufacturing, cement, and waste treatment. It features a compact structure, stable operation, low failure rate, high load capacity, and a wide range of speed options. As a continuous conveying device, it is mostly installed in a fixed configuration. The apron conveyor consists of a head wheel assembly, chain plate combination assembly, tail wheel tensioning device, frame, and drive unit.
