Twin-Shaft Humidifying Mixing Conveyor
The twin-shaft humidifying mixing conveyor is primarily used in thermal power plants, steel mills, ironworks, chemical plants, and other sectors for ash discharge from ash silos, performing spray water wet mixing and conveying of powdered materials. This machine uniformly mixes and conveys powdered materials to meet dust-free conveying requirements. The dust humidifier is also suitable for humidifying, mixing, and conveying solid particulate materials in industries such as chemicals and mining. The structure of the twin-shaft humidifying mixing conveyor consists of two sets of spiral blade machines that evenly feed materials into the main unit. Dry ash powder entering the mixing tank/stirring tank is forcibly mixed and stirred with water quantitatively supplied by the water supply device. Simultaneously, materials meeting humidity requirements are conveyed to the discharge port, achieving the goal of eliminating dust emissions. The advantages of the twin-shaft dust humidifier include excellent mixing efficiency, a tightly sealed system with no flying ash dispersion, a compact reducer structure, small footprint, smooth transmission, low noise, uniform mixing, wear-resistant blades, easy operation and maintenance, reliable operation, and blades made of high-wear-resistant manganese steel, resulting in a longer and more durable service life compared to traditional equipment.
The twin-shaft humidifying mixing conveyor features a dual-shaft structure with blades made of wear-resistant steel. It is mainly used in industries such as cement, chemicals, power, building materials, and briquette production for mixing and conveying various powdered materials, including sludge, slag, carbide slag, gypsum, sand, and briquette powder. A reasonable spray water device eliminates dust pollution to the environment.
The twin-shaft mixer combines mixing, conveying, and humidifying functions, making it suitable for material mixing and humidification. Due to the large space in the horizontal twin-shaft mixer's trough, it can mix and convey materials with larger particle sizes. The two blades inside the horizontal twin-shaft mixer move in opposite directions. Since the blades are spiral-shaped, they can drive materials forward during the mixing and humidifying (optional) process.
The twin-shaft humidifying mixer is suitable for humidifying and mixing fly ash in power plants. The mixed fly ash produces no dust during transportation and handling, avoiding environmental pollution. It is an essential facility for environmental protection in power plants. This machine features a compact structure, uniform mixing, no dust emission, and compliance with environmental requirements. With a processing capacity of 20–200 tons per hour, it can be equipped with microcomputer control according to user requirements, making it an ideal equipment for handling fly ash in thermal power plants.
Working Principle of the Twin-Shaft Humidifying Mixer:
The twin-shaft humidifying mixer mainly consists of a casing, spiral shaft assembly, wear-resistant blades, driving device, piping, cover plates, chain cover, and other components. The casing is primarily made of plates and section steel, welded into shape at the manufacturing plant and assembled with other components, serving as the support for the twin-shaft mixer. The casing is tightly sealed, preventing flying ash and leakage. The spiral shaft assembly is the main component of the twin-shaft mixer, comprising left and right rotating spiral shafts, bearing seats, bearing sleeves, bearing covers, gears, sprockets, oil cups, blades, and other parts. The left and right rotating spiral shafts require high manufacturing precision and good process performance, with strict fitting requirements for bearing seats, bearing sleeves, and bearing covers. Gears and sprockets are protected by covers for safe and effective operation. The blades of the twin-shaft mixer are made of wear-resistant and non-stick materials. The blade structure is reasonably simple, easy to replace after wear, and has a long service life. The water humidifying piping mainly consists of pipes, joints, and nozzles. The nozzles are arranged above the inside of the mixer casing, axially along the spiral shaft direction, forming a water curtain mist to facilitate material humidification and mixing. The nozzle structure is simple, easy to replace, corrosion-resistant, and durable. The moisture content of the wet ash can be adjusted by operating the manual regulating valve on the water supply pipeline. The cover plates mainly include left cover plates, intermediate covers, right cover plates, hole covers, and maintenance hole covers, facilitating routine inspection and maintenance by operators.
Features of the Twin-Shaft Dust Humidifying Mixer and Twin-Shaft Spiral Mixer:
1. The shaft seal uses a multi-groove labyrinth combined with packing seal, ensuring reliable sealing and minimal shaft wear.
2. High output capacity (up to 200 tons per hour for mixing and humidifying), uniform humidification, and reliable operation.
3. Specially designed atomizing nozzles and an adjustable water supply system ensure uniform material humidification.
4. The mixing rods are made of iron-based wear-resistant alloy or composite ceramics, providing a long service life.
5. The inner lining of the casing is made of iron-based wear-resistant alloy, offering high durability and preventing material self-flow due to excessive wear clearance.
6. Flexible layout with two transmission forms: chain drive and direct coupling. The transmission mechanism uses a cycloidal reducer.
Usage Instructions:
