Features:

(1) Relative humidity (RH) accuracy up to 0.8 %RH, temperature accuracy up to 0.1 °C (0.18 °F);

(4) PPS plastic grid filter with stainless steel mesh provided as standard;

It utilizes Vaisala's thin-film capacitive humidity measurement technology, which is widely adopted. Vaisala's HUMICAP® technology ensures excellent stability, fast response time, and low hysteresis across various applications.

(2) Replaceable sensor with several filter options

The design is suitable for many industrial environments, enabling flexible on-site maintenance. For applications requiring frequent component replacement, the filter and sensor element can be exchanged on-site. Filter options for the HMP3 include a stainless steel 12 µ mesh filter (for applications like air control units), a sintered stainless steel filter (for applications requiring significant dust protection), and a PPS plastic grid filter (to shorten humidity response time).

(3) Standalone use or with Indigo transmitters

The RS-485 Modbus RTU communication protocol within the intelligent probe means the HMP3 can be used as a standalone device. It can also be easily integrated into other systems.
As part of Vaisala's Indigo series, the intelligent HMP3 can also be used with Vaisala Indigo200 transmitters. These transmitters offer additional features, such as a display for intuitive data visualization, easy access for probe configuration, and more options for connectivity, power supply, and wiring.

When using the HMP3 standalone or with an Indigo transmitter, it can be connected to the free Vaisala Insight software for easy on-site calibration, probe configuration, and device analysis.
