Product Description:

The high-pressure level switch is a float-driven unit that utilizes a single switch component for level alarm or control. These devices are designed for operating pressures up to 345 bar (5000 psi) and liquids with a specific gravity of 0.40 and above.

Applications:

Chemical, crude oil processing, power generation, pulp and paper, petroleum refining.

Features:

(1) Welded carbon steel outer cylinder;

(2) B74 standard models available with 304 or 316 stainless steel outer cylinder;

(3) Inconel float spring and stainless steel linkage;

(4) Stainless steel float;

(5) Sealed or flanged outer cylinder;

(6) Pressure up to 345 bar (5000 psig);

(7) Temperature up to +399° C (+750° F);

(8) Minimum specific gravity of 0.40.

Working Principle:

Changes in liquid level alter the buoyancy on the float suspended by the range spring. The force variation on the spring causes it to extend or compress, moving the magnetic sleeve into or out of the switch magnet's magnetic field, thereby triggering the switch action.
