Pressure Gauge Calibrator 271.11

I. Purpose
The 271.11 pressure gauge calibrator is used to test general pressure gauges and can serve as a pressure source. Its testing pressure can reach up to 60 MPa, and its testing vacuum can reach -0.08 MPa.

II. Basic Structure and Working Principle
The pressure gauge calibrator consists of a hand pump (1), an oil cup (2), and two check valves (3), all connected by connecting pipes (4) and fixed on a base (5). By closing the oil cup valve and rotating the handwheel to move the piston, the generated pressure (or vacuum) is transmitted to the two pressure gauges. The pressure gauge under test is calibrated based on the readings of the precision pressure gauge.

IV. Acceptance and Storage
1. When receiving the packaged calibrator, users should first check if the packaging is intact. If any damage is found, the cause should be identified immediately.
2. After unpacking, remove the padding materials and inspect the calibrator's appearance for any defects. Check if the manual and factory certificate are complete, and verify the product and accessories (5 rubber pads). If any items are missing, notify our factory immediately.
3. The calibrator should be stored indoors at an ambient temperature of +5~+35°C and a relative humidity not exceeding 80%. The surrounding air should not contain any corrosive substances harmful to the calibrator.
V. Installation and Use
1. The pressure gauge calibrator should be placed on a workbench that is easy to operate and must be kept level.
2. The operating environment temperature for the calibrator is 20±10°C, with relative humidity not exceeding 80%, and the surrounding air must not contain corrosive gases.
3. The calibrator must not be subjected to vibrations. A rubber mat should be placed on the workbench and secured with screws.
4. Before use, clean all parts of the calibrator with gasoline, then fill the oil cup with the working fluid. Rotate the handwheel of the hand pump to check if the oil path is clear. If no issues are found, install the precision pressure gauge and the pressure gauge to be tested.
5. Operating Steps:
When testing pressure gauges:
1) Open the oil cup valve and rotate the handwheel counterclockwise to fill the hand pump cylinder with the working fluid.
2) Close the oil cup valve and rotate the handwheel counterclockwise to compress the working fluid, allowing the oil pressure to act on the pressure gauge under test and the precision pressure gauge. Calibration can be performed based on the readings of the two gauges.
When testing vacuum gauges:
1) Remove the working fluid from the calibrator.
2) Close valve (3), open the oil cup valve, and fully screw the hand pump螺杆 into the cylinder.
3) Close the oil cup valve, open valve (3), and unscrew the hand pump螺杆 to create a vacuum. If the desired vacuum level is not achieved after one unscrewing, repeat the screwing and unscrewing process several times until the required vacuum is reached.
VI. Maintenance and Repair
1. Regularly clean all parts of the instrument and reassemble it to its original state.
2. The oil should not contain impurities or dirt. After a certain period of use, the oil must be replaced.
3. When not in use, cover the calibrator with a cloth罩 to prevent dust from entering.
