Pingpingjia is a non-ionic surfactant. It appears as a pale yellow liquid or milky white paste-like solid. The main component is polyoxyethylene fatty alcohol ether. It is soluble in water, ethanol, ethylene glycol, and other solvents. It exhibits good stability in acidic and alkaline solutions, as well as in hard water. It possesses excellent emulsifying, leveling, and dispersing properties.

Production Process of Pingpingjia: It is synthesized through the condensation reaction of higher alcohols and ethylene oxide using solid caustic soda as a catalyst, followed by neutralization and bleaching.

Applications of Pingpingjia: In the textile industry, it is used as a leveling agent, stripping agent, retarding agent, etc. It is also employed in synthetic fiber spinning oils, emulsifiers in the latex industry, and electroplating.
