*****Applications of Electronic Grade NMP*****

(1) Widely used as a solvent for polyvinylidene fluoride and as an auxiliary material for lithium-ion battery electrodes;

(2) Used in photoresist stripping solutions and LCD liquid crystal material production;

(3) Used as a solvent in pharmaceutical production;

(4) Used for cleaning precision instruments and circuit boards in the semiconductor industry.

*****Applications of Industrial Grade NMP*****

(1) Used as a basic organic raw material for extraction and recovery in the petrochemical industry. It can serve as a solvent for recovering acetylene from natural gas or light naphtha pyrolysis gas, achieving a purity of 99.7%; as an extractant for separating and recovering high-purity butadiene from cracked C4 hydrocarbons, with a recovery rate of 97% and butadiene purity of 99.7%; as an extractant for recovering high-purity isoprene from cracked C5 hydrocarbons, with isoprene purity reaching 99%; when used as an aromatic extractant, due to its high solubility and low vapor pressure for aromatics, the process results in low solvent loss and high aromatic recovery rates.

(2) Used in lubricant refining. It extracts aromatic hydrocarbons from lubricants to achieve refining purposes.

(3) Used as a solvent for polymers and polymerization reactions. For example, it serves as a polymerization solvent for producing polymers such as polyphenylene sulfide, aramid, polyimide, polyamide, and polyurethane.

(4) Due to its high solubility for resins, it is used as a solvent in resin processing, specifically for manufacturing coatings, floor paints, varnishes, composite coating films, insulating materials for integrated circuit enameled wires, fiber fabrics, adhesives, and other products.

(5) Used as an industrial cleaning agent for cleaning chemical equipment, blockages, deposits, and coatings.

(6) Used as an additive and dispersant in the production of pesticides, inks, and pigments.
