Application Information

Characteristics and Advantages

• High defoaming efficiency for unsaturated polyester resins (SMC/BMC, gel coats, coatings, inks, etc.);

• Good performance in various adhesive application fields;

• Effective defoaming in polar to medium-polar systems;

• Minimal impact on gloss and transparency due to balanced compatibility;

• No crater formation, no adverse effect on recoatability;

• Standard defoamer for solvent systems.

When used with wetting and dispersing agents like YINK-110 in pigment-containing systems, it can provide lower viscosity to the system, facilitating faster defoaming.

Addition Method

For optimal performance, the defoamer should be added to the grinding material before grinding.

If added at a later stage, sufficient high shear force is required to ensure good dispersion of the defoamer and prevent cratering.

Recommended Applications

Industrial coatings, wood and furniture coatings, automotive coatings, printing inks, architectural coatings.

Almost all unsaturated polyester resin systems, PU systems, vinyl resin systems, acrylic resins, adhesives, PVC, and epoxy systems.

Recommended Dosage

0.05-1% based on the total formulation.

25KG or 170KG net weight/blue iron drum.

Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated warehouse, sealed. Handle with care during transportation.
