YINK-A15(515) Silicone-Free Polymer Defoamer

YINK-A15 is used in unsaturated polyester resin systems, solid surface materials, translucent panels, epoxy and polyurethane systems. It is also suitable for solvent-free system products, pultrusion processes, and adhesive systems to improve fiber wettability. Additionally, it can be used in high-thixotropic gel coats and acrylic resin systems.

Features and Benefits

• Excellent defoaming efficiency and transparency for unsaturated polyester resins and vinyl resins;

• Performs well in hand lay-up and fiber spray processes and can be used with YINK-555 to achieve a better balance between defoaming and transparency.

• Delivers good results in various adhesive and sealing applications;

• Also serves as an excellent defoamer in polyurethane PU, acrylate, and alkyd resin systems.

Recommended Applications

Almost all unsaturated polyester resins, vinyl esters and their processing, polyurethane resins, acrylic resins, adhesives, and sealants.

Recommended Dosage

0.1-0.5% based on the total formulation.
