Used as a formaldehyde scavenger to remove residual formaldehyde from fabrics treated with 2D resin, KB resin, urea-formaldehyde resin, melamine-formaldehyde resin, etc. This product is also used as an intermediate for fine chemicals, for the manufacture of resins, plasticizers, spray paints, adhesives, etc.
【Use 3】
2-Imidazolidinone serves as an intermediate for Mezlocillin Sodium and Azlocillin Sodium, as well as a raw material for antischistosomal agents and insecticides. It is used as a de-aldehyding agent in the printing and dyeing industry. It reduces the content of free formaldehyde in self-curing resins and removes formaldehyde from textiles.
