 The BZQ spherical crown fine bubble diffuser is a new type of aeration device developed by our unit based on the characteristics of biological wastewater treatment processes, building upon the original diaphragm-type fine bubble aerator. The overall structure of the diffuser is scientifically designed, with advanced technology and innovative design. The fine bubble diffuser and its support tray feature a unique spherical crown structure. This diffuser offers excellent anti-clogging and anti-backflow performance. Under intermittent operating conditions, sludge is less likely to deposit on the surface of the aeration membrane, resulting in a longer service life compared to flat diaphragm fine bubble diffusers, higher oxygen transfer efficiency, and suitability for the biological treatment of slightly polluted source water. Features: Excellent anti-clogging and anti-backflow performance. The spherical crown shape of the diffuser prevents sludge accumulation on its surface, even in complex wastewater conditions or intermittent operation. The membrane perforation technology is uniquely advanced, featuring diagonal slit-type holes. Additionally, a special sealing ring is installed at the top center to more effectively prevent water backflow. High tear resistance of the membrane. The spherical crown-shaped rubber membrane ensures uniform stress distribution during operation, reducing fatigue deformation, providing good resilience, and resistance to tearing, resulting in a long service life. Uniform air distribution, energy-saving, and high efficiency. The working surface area of the spherical crown diffuser is relatively larger than that of flat diffusers, producing small bubbles and ensuring uniform air distribution, high oxygen transfer efficiency, and effective treatment. This characteristic is maintained even at low airflow rates, making operation and management convenient. Aging and corrosion resistance. The spherical crown aeration membrane is made of high-quality rubber, while the support tray and threaded connector are made of engineering plastics. These materials offer excellent physical and mechanical properties, with superior aging resistance and resistance to chemical corrosion from acids, alkalis, and other chemicals. Low resistance loss. Due to the unique anti-clogging and anti-backflow properties of the diffuser, the check valve required for flat fine bubble aerators is eliminated, reducing the resistance of the aerator and saving energy. Structure and Working Principle: The spherical crown fine bubble diffuser mainly consists of an aeration membrane, support tray, spiral pressure cover, and threaded connector. The rubber membrane is simply slipped onto the support tray and tightened with the spiral pressure cover. During installation, the support tray (with a G3/4" internal threaded air channel at the center) is mounted onto the threaded connector at the top of the air distribution pipe. When the spherical crown fine bubble diffuser is in operation, air enters the space between the aeration membrane and the support tray through the air channel. Under air pressure, the membrane slightly bulges, and the holes open, producing fine bubbles with a diameter of <3mm in the water. When air supply stops, the pressure between the membrane and the tray gradually decreases, and under water pressure and the membrane's own resilience, the holes gradually close, pressing the membrane tightly against the support tray. Technical Performance Parameters: Diffuser dimensions: 215×160mm; Applicable working air volume: 0.8-0.3 m³/h per unit; Service area: 0.35-0.6 m³ per unit; Oxygen utilization rate: 24-31% (up to 40.7% at 6m water depth); Oxygenation capacity: 0.169-0.244 kgO₂/h; Oxygenation power efficiency: 6.5-6.8 kgO₂/kWh; Diffuser resistance loss: ≤3200 Pa. Layout, Installation, and Commissioning: Spherical crown diffuser equipment can be supplied as a complete set, including accessories such as air distribution pipes, pipe fittings, level adjusters, cleaning devices, and connectors. The vertical layout dimensions of the diffuser place its surface approximately 230mm above the pool bottom, with the center of the air distribution pipe about 110mm above the pool bottom, though adjustments can be made according to user requirements. The air distribution pipes should form a loop network to ensure uniform air distribution. Each group should have a valve for airflow regulation. The air velocity in the pipes is generally 10-15 m/s in the main pipe and 4-5 m/s in the branch pipes. During installation, first fix the adjuster to the pool bottom with expansion bolts according to the design dimensions, then secure the air distribution pipe to the adjuster with pipe clamps. After purging the air pipes, install the diffusers. Commissioning and Inspection Methods: After installation, fill the pool with clean water until the water level is about 100-200mm above the surface of the diffusers. Then perform the following checks: During water filling, observe whether the diffuser elevations are level and make adjustments (the pool bottom should be level during construction, with a drain outlet provided). Check all pipe connections and seals for air leaks. Under standard airflow conditions of 2 m³/h per unit, check for uniform air distribution. The permeable area of each diffuser should exceed 80%.
