>Product Introduction The pipeline mixer, also known as a tubular static mixer, is highly effective in water supply and drainage, as well as environmental protection projects, for dosing various coagulants, flocculants, ozone, liquid chlorine, acid-base neutralization, and gas-water mixing. It is an ideal device for the instantaneous mixing of water and various chemicals, featuring rapid and efficient mixing, simple structure, energy savings, and compact size. Without requiring external power, water flow through the pipeline mixer produces three effects:分流, cross-mixing, and reverse swirl, enabling the added chemicals to disperse quickly and uniformly throughout the water body for instantaneous mixing. The mixing efficiency reaches 90–95%, which can save chemical usage by about 20–30%, significantly improving water treatment effectiveness and conserving energy. >Structural Principle The pipeline mixer generally consists of three mixing units (the number can be increased based on the characteristics of the mixed medium). Each mixing unit is a 180° twisted fixed spiral blade (or 90° cross-inserted blade), available in left-hand and right-hand rotations. Adjacent units have spiral blades rotating in opposite directions and are offset by 90°. To facilitate the installation of spiral blades, the FRP cylinder is made into two semi-circular parts, connected with flanges at both ends, and the gaps are bonded with epoxy resin to ensure sealing. The construction of pipeline mixers made from other materials may vary. The spiral blades of the pipeline mixer remain stationary, with only the mixed materials or media in motion. Fluids passing through it experience pressure drop without requiring external energy. The mixing is achieved primarily through flow division, radial mixing, and reverse rotation, with the two media continuously and vigorously blending and diffusing. >Application Scope 1. Mixing various coagulants and flocculants in urban domestic water and industrial water supply treatment; 2. Mixing various coagulants and flocculants in urban domestic sewage and industrial wastewater treatment; 3. Gas-water mixing and dosing of liquid chlorine, ozone, and other disinfectants in water supply, drainage, and environmental protection projects; 4. Acid-base neutralization and mixing in industrial wastewater; 5. Mixing and homogenization treatment for various industrial wastewaters. >Design Parameters 1. The diameter of the pipeline mixer is selected based on the economic flow velocity, generally calculated at 0.9–1.2 m/s. For diameters larger than 500 mm, the maximum flow velocity can reach 1.5 m/s. If conditions allow, increasing the diameter by 50–100 mm can reduce head loss; 2. The basic configuration of the pipeline mixer includes three mixing units, with a head loss of about 0.4–0.6 m. The number of units can be adjusted based on the mixed medium; 3. The internal water pressure of the pipeline mixer is designed for 0.1 MPa, but the equipment can be manufactured according to actual pressure requirements. >Product Installation 1. The pipeline mixer can be installed in any orientation: horizontally, vertically, or in other configurations; 2. When installed on overhead pipelines, the pipeline mixer must be fixed with pipe supports. For buried pipelines, it can be installed in inspection wells; 3. The piping for dosing chemicals should be designed by the user, following national water supply and drainage standard drawings. The flow velocity in the pipe must be greater than 1.0 m/s, and the pressure should be less than 0.2 MPa (for FRP material); 4. The dosing points for various chemicals should be located at the front end of the mixing unit of the pipeline mixer, at a distance greater than 0.3 meters.
