Nickel-based alloys possess a high alloy content, including elements such as Cr, Ni, and Mo, and maintain excellent overall performance even in high-temperature and highly corrosive environments. For example, they exhibit strong resistance to acid and alkali corrosion, outstanding high-temperature corrosion and stress corrosion resistance, and some also demonstrate good corrosion resistance in both reducing and oxidizing media. They are widely used in flue gas desulfurization equipment in thermal power generation and wastewater treatment; in the chemical, petrochemical, and marine development industries for the production of chemicals with highly corrosive media and harsh environments, as well as in the manufacturing of heaters, heat exchangers, evaporators, condensers, and pipelines; in the energy sector for nuclear power generation, comprehensive utilization of coal, and tidal power generation; in marine structures in oceanic environments, seawater desalination, aquaculture, and seawater heat exchange; and in the food industry for salt production and soy sauce brewing.
