Hubei Yuanlinqing Liquor Industry Co., Ltd., established in 1951, is an enterprise primarily engaged in the production of baijiu, buckwheat wine,露酒 (lùjiǔ, a type of infused alcoholic beverage), and health wines. It is one of the earlier founded companies in the liquor industry of Hubei Province.

Yuanlinqing liquor is an ancient famous wine of Jingchu (the ancient name for the Chu region), with a brewing history that can be traced back over 2,500 years, when it was selected as a royal court beverage. During the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods, King Ling of Chu built the Zhanghua Terrace in Qianjiang, the first of its kind in the world. The Zhanghua Terrace, known for "hosting extravagant all-night banquets and creating new music that resonated for a hundred miles," spurred the prosperity of Qianjiang's wine market, leading to a proliferation of wineries. The tradition continued to develop through the Han and Tang dynasties, and by 1855, a unique brewing technique had been formed and has been passed down to this day.

Mr. Cao Yu, a master of drama born in Qianjiang, inscribed for Yuanlinqing liquor twice: "Wanli hometown wine, magnificent Yuanlinqing," and "Yuanlin spring scenery, hometown fine brew."

The unique geographical environment, traditional brewing techniques, and exquisite selection and aging technology make Yuanlinqing liquor enjoyable without causing headaches, and it is beneficial to health,堪称 (kānchēng, can be called) a top-grade liquor.

Yuanlinqing won the national gold medal three times consecutively in 1985, 1990, and 1995. In the following years, it has won numerous awards in national ministerial and provincial-level selections of similar products.

The company was among the first in the provincial industry to enter the national second-class enterprise行列 (hángliè, ranks) in 1988 and is one of the few in the provincial liquor industry to obtain GMP certification. In 2013, its brewing technique (traditional distilled liquor brewing technique) was awarded the title of Hubei Provincial Intangible Cultural Heritage. In 2014, it was honored as a Hubei Time-Honored Brand. The company's "20-Year Cellar" baijiu won the title of "2021 Hubei Liquor Industry Top Ten Baijiu Star Product" and ranked first!

The company has now formed three major series of products: Yuanlinqing露酒 (lùjiǔ) series, Yuanlinqing baijiu series, and Yuanlinqing health wine series, comprising over twenty varieties and more than thirty specifications. The products are sold nationwide. After asset restructuring in 2017, Yuanlinqing Liquor Industry Co., Ltd. promotes brand development, fully挖掘 (wājué, excavates) the potential of Qianjiang's baijiu culture, and advances the construction of baijiu culture. At the same time, it strengthens the protection of intellectual property rights for baijiu products, focusing on safeguarding the "Yuanlinqing" brand. The company currently owns over 40 registered trademarks.
