Main Applications
Refractory Materials: B4C powder is used in carbon-containing refractories for oxidation resistance, densifying the product, preventing carbon oxidation in carbon-containing refractories, reducing porosity, improving medium-temperature strength, and reducing cracks.
Nuclear Industry: This product offers higher neutron absorption efficiency than micron-grade powder, making it widely used in nuclear and defense industries. Using B4C material as isolation blocks, storage pools originally designed for 15 years now meet the International Atomic Energy Agency's recommendation of at least 50 years of design life for temporary spent fuel storage.
