Deaerator Copper Nozzle M24 D6.5, Water Output 0.6T/H; M32 D9.5, Water Output 1.6T/H The primary function of a deaerator is to remove oxygen and other non-condensable gases from boiler feedwater to ensure water quality. If dissolved oxygen is present in the water, it can cause corrosion of metal components in contact with the water. Additionally, the accumulation of gases in heat exchangers increases thermal resistance, reducing heat transfer efficiency. Therefore, the presence of any dissolved gases in water is detrimental, particularly oxygen, which poses a direct threat to the safe operation of equipment. In thermal power plants, thermal deaeration is employed. The deaerator itself also serves as a mixing heater within the feedwater regenerative system. Meanwhile, drains from high-pressure heaters, chemically treated makeup water, and other high-quality high-pressure drains and exhaust steam from various parts of the plant can be collected into the deaerator for reuse, reducing the loss of steam and water in the power plant. The working principle of the deaerator involves the main condensate (including makeup water) from the low-pressure heater, which is regulated by the inlet water control valve before entering the deaerator. There, it mixes with other drains and is sprayed through nozzles or perforated pipes, forming a umbrella-shaped water film. This water film undergoes mixed heat and mass transfer with rising heating steam, rapidly bringing the feedwater to the saturation temperature corresponding to the operating pressure. At this stage, the majority of dissolved oxygen and other gases are stripped from the water, achieving the purpose of deaeration.
