YJ-0983 Drug Cone Penetration Tester (Standard configuration with Cone No. I)

This instrument is designed and manufactured in accordance with the technical requirements and relevant regulations of "0983 Cone Penetration Method" in the 2020 Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China, Volume IV. It is mainly applicable to semi-solid substances such as petrolatum, ointments, eye ointments and their common base materials (such as petrolatum, lanolin, beeswax), to control their properties such as softness, hardness and viscosity, and to avoid affecting the spreadability of the drug. Drug cone penetration refers to the process of using free fall to release a cone of a certain mass downward from the cone penetration tester at 25°C, and measuring the depth of the cone penetrating into the test sample within 5 seconds after release.

I. Main Functional Features

1. The cone penetration value is displayed on a digital display, which is intuitive and clear.
2. The timing control device for cone penetration has 6 gears, with high timing control accuracy.
3. It has electric coarse adjustment and fine adjustment functions for the lifting frame, which is convenient to adjust and accurately aligns with the cone.

4. The mass of the cone rod assembly is precise, strictly in line with standards, and convenient and fast to calibrate.
5. This instrument is multi-functional. It can also be optionally equipped with standard needles, sample dishes, thermometers, weights and other accessories, making it suitable for measurements in national standards GB/T 4509-1998, GB/T 4509-2010 and the T0604-2011 standard in Highway Engineering Industry Standard JTG E20-2011.
