Product Overview
The ZYT series self-operated pressure regulator is widely used in pipeline systems for steam, water, oil, gas, etc. It requires no external energy source and utilizes the pipeline system's own pressure to achieve automatic regulation and control of pressure.

Product Structure and Working Principle
The ZNT series self-operated pressure regulator (see schematic diagram) mainly consists of the main valve body, main valve core, main diaphragm, auxiliary valve, auxiliary valve core, pressure diaphragm, regulating spring, etc.
Working principle for downstream pressure regulation: Before operation, the main valve is closed. During use, rotate the adjusting screw clockwise to open the auxiliary valve core. The medium entering from port B of the main valve flows through the auxiliary valve into the downstream section C of the main valve body, while also flowing from port F through an external pipe to the main diaphragm chamber A. When the flow through the auxiliary valve chamber exceeds the flow through orifice D, the pressure in chamber F increases, and the pressure in the main diaphragm chamber A also increases, pushing the diaphragm upward and opening the main valve core, thus opening the main valve. The medium then flows through the main valve into the downstream section, where the pressure gradually increases. This pressure is transmitted via the pressure feedback pipe through port E to the lower side of the pressure diaphragm. When the force acting on the pressure diaphragm balances with the force of the regulating spring, the regulator completes the process of high-pressure stabilization. When medium supply is not required for an extended period, the pressure in the feedback pipeline increases, and the auxiliary valve chamber moves toward closure. The pressure is released back through the two external pipes, maintaining the main valve at the required reduced pressure or fully closed.
The working principle of the upstream pressure regulator is opposite to that of the downstream regulator. When the upstream pressure increases, the main valve opens to stabilize the upstream pressure.
