III. Usage Instructions:
1. After unpacking, secure the test device and connect the grounding wire.
2. Before testing, place steel balls inside the test sample, then adjust the electrode rod using the locking screw so that the electrode inserts into the insulated boot (glove) and contacts the steel ball surface via the adjustment screw.
3. Remote control buttons: "1" is the stop button, "2" is the start button, "3" is the voltage increase button, "4" is the voltage decrease button, "5" is the timing button, "6" is the standby button.
4. Connect the power supply, press the air switch (power indicator lights up), press button "2" (work indicator lights up; if not, the voltage regulator is not at zero—press button "4" to decrease voltage, then press "2" again), then press "3" to increase voltage. When the desired voltage is reached, press "5" to start timing. When the time is up, the buzzer sounds; press "4" to return the voltage regulator to zero, and press "1" to end the test.
5. The leftmost digital meter is the high-voltage meter (KV), followed by six smart current meters (mA). The six high-voltage leakage current meters (mA) have corresponding overcurrent indicator lights above them, each in one-to-one correspondence.
