I. Product Overview:
       Vacuum circuit breakers are widely used high-voltage electrical devices in power systems, with the vacuum interrupter being the core component. Since the interrupter operates based on vacuum conditions, its quality is not as easily detectable as that of oil or SF6 circuit breakers. Traditionally, users determine the vacuum degree of interrupters using the power frequency withstand voltage method, which only roughly identifies interrupters with severely degraded vacuum levels.
       The KEZKD Vacuum Degree Tester is an evaluation device for measuring the vacuum degree of vacuum interrupters. It operates on the principle of magnetron discharge, with a single-chip microcomputer as the main control unit, fully automating the testing process. The instrument's sampling design replaces the previous method of using current peaks for calibration with ion charge calibration. This effectively suppresses transient power interference during testing, ensuring stable and reliable results. Thanks to the microcomputer-based control unit, the instrument can easily deduct leakage currents caused by environmental factors.
       The standout feature of the KEZKD Vacuum Degree Tester is its ability to measure vacuum interrupters without disassembly, directly displaying the vacuum degree value. This allows users to thoroughly understand the vacuum state of the interrupter, providing a reliable basis for planned replacement and ensuring the safe operation of the power grid. It overcomes the limitation of the power frequency withstand voltage method, which only determines whether the interrupter is scrapped. II. Testing Principle
       The contacts of the interrupter are separated by a certain distance, and a pulse high voltage is applied. An electromagnetic coil is wound around the outside of the interrupter, and a large current is passed through the coil to generate a pulse magnetic field synchronized with the high voltage inside the interrupter. Under the influence of the pulse magnetic field, electrons in the interrupter undergo spiral motion and collide with residual gas molecules, causing ionization. The resulting ion current is approximately proportional to the residual gas density, i.e., the vacuum degree. For different vacuum tubes, the ion current varies even under the same vacuum degree. After measuring the ion current, the vacuum degree is automatically calculated by the computer using the ion current-vacuum degree curve and displayed.
