I. Product Overview:
       The KEXST-B Fully Automatic Insulating Boots (Gloves) Withstand Voltage Test Device is a commonly used testing equipment for testing the insulation performance of insulating boots and insulating gloves. It complies with the requirements of the State Power Corporation's "Regulations for Preventive Testing of Electrical Safety Tools" (State Power Development [2002] No. 777).
       The KEXST-B Fully Automatic Insulating Boots (Gloves) Withstand Voltage Test Device consists of two main parts: a high-voltage test device and a data processing device. The high-voltage test device has an aesthetically pleasing appearance, uses a dedicated stainless steel container, has a reasonable and safe structure, and the cabinet is electrostatically sprayed for moisture and corrosion resistance. The data processing device uses a single-chip microcomputer for control, integrating signal acquisition, conversion, processing, and control functions, with high technical content.
       This device is widely applicable to power supply, power generation, and other power enterprises. It performs intelligent insulation performance preventive testing on insulating boots and insulating gloves in accordance with the "Regulations."
       This device has the following functions:
       1. The rated voltage value, leakage current value, and test time of the test piece can be manually set;
       2. Automatically increases and decreases the test voltage without manual adjustment;

II. Working Principle:
      During use, up to 6 test pieces can be placed in the dedicated stainless steel container simultaneously. A high voltage of 0~30KV generated by the motorized voltage regulator and high-voltage test transformer is applied to the test pieces as the positive electrode. The actual voltage is adjusted according to the preset test voltage to match the test voltage. At this point, one voltage signal and up to six current signals are transmitted to the data processing device via a remote communication cable. The data processing device collects, amplifies, and converts the signals, compares the voltage signal with the rated voltage, and activates the step-down or step-up relay based on the situation. It also monitors the magnitude of the six currents. If the leakage current of any of the six circuits exceeds the rated current, the microcomputer activates the fault relay, and the corresponding indicator light illuminates. The high-voltage measurement device also emits audible and visual alarms. If all six currents are normal, after the test time ends, the test voltage is reduced to zero, and a test report may be printed.

III. System Components:
       The system consists of a high-voltage test device and a data processing device;
       The main components of the high-voltage test device include: test bench cabinet, dedicated container for insulating boots, dedicated container for insulating gloves, motorized voltage regulator, test transformer, digital voltage meter, digital current meter, and electrical control parts.
       The main components of the data processing device include: aluminum alloy case, micro printer, LCD display, keyboard board, main board, switching power supply, and remote communication control cable.

IV. Installation and Connection Instructions:
       Electrical Connections:    
       1. The test bench ground wire must be well and reliably grounded;
       2. All electrical connections of this test bench use plug connections, making it simple and practical:
       3. The three-pin socket on the device connects to a 220V power supply, and the 5-pin plug connects to the test transformer. The three-pin socket on the control device connects to a 220V power supply. The 14-pin socket between them connects to the remote communication cable; the 10-pin socket between them connects to the remote control cable;
       Test Piece Placement:
      (a) Testing insulating boots: Place the dedicated container for insulating boots on an insulating board, put a water-soaked sponge into the container, place the insulating boots on the sponge, and put steel balls with a diameter of 4mm into the boots, with a height of no less than 15mm. Adjust the conductive rod of the test piece so that it extends into the steel balls. Remove the conductive rods for test pieces not being used.
      (b) Testing insulating gloves: Place the dedicated container for insulating gloves on an insulating board, fill the container with tap water, also fill the insulating gloves with tap water, and then immerse them in the dedicated container. Adjust the length of the conductive rod so that it extends into the water. The water levels inside and outside the insulating gloves should be the same, and any exposed surfaces should be dried.
