Product Overview:

PVC foam regulator is produced through emulsion polymerization using monomers such as acrylate. It is primarily used to improve the uniformity of cell structure in rigid PVC foam products, promote the plasticization and melting of PVC resin, and enhance the appearance quality of the products. When used as a processing aid, it significantly increases melt strength and imparts better surface smoothness to the products. As a foam regulator, it provides higher melt strength, excellent plasticization performance and fluidity, and promotes the gelation of PVC. This allows the gas generated by the thermal decomposition of the foaming agent to dissolve quickly and completely in the PVC melt, intertwining with the PVC molecular chains, greatly enhancing the strength and elasticity of the melt. As a result, the PVC melt can develop the strength required to match the expansion of the gas and the necessary elongation for gas expansion, ensuring the formation of fine, dense, and independent cells during the expansion process. This helps retain more uniform and dense bubbles, resulting in a uniform foam structure, lower density, and improved surface smoothness. The product is a white amorphous powder, insoluble in water and ethanol, but soluble or swellable in ethers, ketones, and chlorinated hydrocarbons. It complies with the hygiene standard (GB9681-88).
