JS Cementitious Capillary Crystalline Waterproof Coating
I. Product Introduction
Cementitious capillary crystalline waterproof coating is a gray powder material composed of ordinary Portland cement as the base material mixed with active chemical ingredients. The waterproofing mechanism of the cementitious capillary crystalline series primarily relies on its porous nature. In the presence of water, the active chemical substances in the coating use water as a carrier to penetrate the structural pores. These active chemicals migrate inward with the water and react to form insoluble crystals such as ettringite. The active substances also undergo hydration reactions with unhydrated cement particles, promoting cement hydration to form cement hydration crystals. A large number of crystals are generated to fill the pores, preventing water from entering the concrete, thereby achieving the waterproofing purpose.
II. Scope of Application
Widely used in tunnels, dams, reservoirs, power stations, nuclear power plants, cooling towers, subways, overpasses, bridges, underground continuous walls, airport runways, pile heads and foundations, wastewater treatment pools, storage tanks, waterproofing construction for basements of industrial and civil buildings, roofs, bathrooms, as well as the repair of concrete structural defects in all types of concrete buildings and facilities.
III. Product Features
1. Permeability: Capable of gradually penetrating into the concrete over time, with a penetration depth of up to 30 cm.
2. Impermeability: Can withstand water pressure equivalent to a head of over 120 meters.
3. Waterproofing effect: Can endure certain external impacts without compromising its waterproofing function.
4. Safe for use in drinking water and food industry concrete engineering.
5. Unique self-healing ability: The formed crystals are not prone to aging; even after many years, they can still generate crystals to seal cracks and holes smaller than 0.4 mm upon contact with water.
6. Can directly receive coatings such as paint, epoxy resin, cement mortar, lime paste, and plaster.
7. Simple construction method, easy to operate.
