An explosion-proof deionized water system is a device used to produce deionized water with explosion-proof capabilities.

Principle

- It primarily removes ions from water through ion exchange resins. Cations in the water (such as calcium, magnesium, etc.) exchange with hydrogen ions in the cation exchange resin, while anions (such as chloride ions, sulfate ions, etc.) exchange with hydroxide ions in the anion exchange resin. After these exchange processes, the ion content in the water is significantly reduced, achieving the goal of deionization.

- In environments with flammable and explosive gases or dust (such as in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries), ordinary equipment may generate electrical sparks that could trigger accidents.
