Anisaldehyde

p-Methoxybenzaldehyde is an organic compound with the molecular formula C8H8O2. It appears as a colorless to pale yellow liquid at room temperature and has a hawthorn-like odor.

It is widely used in formulations for daily chemical fragrances and food flavors. It is also employed in the pharmaceutical, food, and daily chemical industries; serves as an excellent brightener for cyanide-free zinc plating DE additives; and is used as a synthetic aldehyde fragrance. It is primarily used as a base for fragrances such as hawthorn, sunflower, and lilac. It also acts as a blending agent for fragrances like new-mown grass, silver wattle, mimosa, and heliotrope. Additionally, it functions as an enhancer for lily of the valley fragrances and a modifier for osmanthus fragrances. Used as a fragrance to formulate floral scents for food, cosmetics, soaps, etc. In pharmaceuticals, it serves as an intermediate for antihistamine drugs, such as in the production of antibiotics like amoxicillin, and is also used as an electroplating brightener, etc.    

Storage Precautions: Store in a cool, well-ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire and heat sources. The packaging must be sealed and not exposed to air. It should be stored separately from oxidizers, reducing agents, alkalis, and food chemicals. Avoid mixed storage. Equip with appropriate types and quantities of fire-fighting equipment. The storage area should be equipped with leak emergency handling equipment and suitable containment materials.
