① Vertical Installation Method

The vertical installation of the submersible pump unit is suitable for vertical shaft sump drainage and surface dewatering drainage. The submersible pump is suspended in the shaft sump. The advantages include reasonable force distribution, stable operation, small sump footprint, and high drainage efficiency. The disadvantages are the greater depth of the vertical sump and the requirement for sufficient support to bear heavy loads without reserving a large hoisting space.

② Horizontal and Inclined Installation Methods

The horizontal pump unit offers advantages such as easy installation, convenient lifting, and reduced sump construction work. Combined with a horizontal pump carrier and rollers, it enables rapid drainage operations.

③ Applicable for Underground Main Drainage, Track-Mounted Emergency Drainage, and Trackless Inclined Shaft Production Recovery Drainage

Main Drainage: The submersible pump serves as the main drainage equipment, with a small footprint and minimal roadway construction. It is installed using clamp rollers or foundation brackets in conjunction with a pump carrier. Positioned in the sump pump location of the connecting roadway underground, it eliminates the need for a dedicated pump room. A distribution valve is set in the distribution roadway connecting the pump room and the sump.

Track-Mounted Emergency Drainage: The pump unit is lowered to the bottom of the shaft along the track, aiming to complete the drainage operation in one go. The pump carrier allows quick movement within the roadway and is equipped with a flexible quick-connect device. As water level and volume change, the submersible pump adjusts its position swiftly, reducing drainage time. It also has low requirements for lifting equipment.

Large-Flow Inclined/Vertical Mine Rescue Pump for Trackless Emergency and Production Recovery Drainage:

For abandoned mines without tracks or conditions unsuitable for direct installation of large submersible pumps, a combined drainage system is used, consisting of a submersible pump, suction cover, pressure-resistant hose, and booster pump. The booster pump is combined with the main drainage pump and installed at its bottom, feeding water to the main pump via steel pipes for drainage operations. The booster pump is easy to maintain and move, avoiding suction of sediment and debris from the shaft bottom. The drainage method facilitates simultaneous drainage, repair, and track laying until the shaft bottom is drained.
