Nano aluminum nitride (AlN) is prepared by aerosol ablation method, featuring high purity, small particle size, large specific surface area, and high surface activity. The powder, after surface modification treatment, does not undergo hydrolysis reaction and has extremely low oxygen content (<0.01%), with very significant thermal insulation and thermal conductivity effects. When used in polymer resins, it does not significantly increase viscosity, making it currently the best high thermal conductivity insulating filler. Nano aluminum nitride belongs to the diamond-like nitride category, stable up to 2200°C, with high room temperature strength, and the strength decreases relatively slowly as temperature rises.
Nano aluminum nitride powder has excellent thermal conductivity, a small thermal expansion coefficient, and a theoretical thermal conductivity value of 340 W/m·K, similar to copper, while also being highly insulating with a resistivity of 1015. It can withstand high temperatures up to 1400°C, significantly improving the thermal conductivity of plastics and silicone rubber. It is an excellent thermal shock-resistant material with strong resistance to molten metal erosion, making it an ideal crucible material for casting pure iron, aluminum, or aluminum alloys. Nano aluminum nitride also has excellent electrical insulation and dielectric properties.
Nano aluminum nitride has good injection molding performance. When used in composite materials, it exhibits good compatibility with semiconductor silicon and interface compatibility, improving the mechanical properties, thermal conductivity, and dielectric properties of the composite materials.

Product Applications
1. Manufacturing integrated circuit substrates, electronic devices, optical devices, heat sinks, high-temperature crucibles for preparing metal-based and polymer-based composite materials. Particularly in high-temperature sealants and electronic packaging materials, it improves heat dissipation performance and strength characteristics, showing promising application prospects and can replace currently imported micron aluminum nitride.
2. Thermal conductive silicone and thermal conductive epoxy resin: Using our company's nano aluminum nitride, high thermal conductive silicone is prepared, which has excellent thermal conductivity, excellent electrical insulation, a wide range of electrical insulation and operating temperature (80-250°C), low viscosity, and good application performance. The product has reached or exceeded imported products and can replace similar imported products, widely used as a heat transfer medium in electronic devices to improve efficiency, such as in the gap between CPU and heat sink, high-power transistors, thyristors, diodes, and the fine gaps in contact with substrates. Nano thermal paste fills the gaps between ICs or transistors and heat sinks, increasing the contact area for better heat dissipation.
3. Nano lubricants and anti-wear agents: Modified nano aluminum nitride ceramic particles added to nano ceramic engine oil act on the friction metal surfaces inside the engine with the lubricant. Under high temperature and extreme pressure, they are firmly embedded into the metal surface indentations and micropores, repairing damaged surfaces and forming a nano ceramic protective film. This film isolates the friction between moving parts, transforming part of the friction from traditional sliding friction to rolling friction, greatly reducing friction. It lowers the friction coefficient by over 80%, increases anti-wear capacity by over 350%, reduces wear by over 80%, extends mechanical part life by more than three times, reduces downtime, lowers maintenance costs, extends overhaul periods by more than double, saves energy by 10%-30%, and increases equipment output power by 20%-40%. The addition amount is as low as 0.02% to 0.1%.
4. Application in high thermal conductive plastics: Modified nano aluminum nitride powder can significantly improve the thermal conductivity of plastics. Experimental products added at 10-30% to plastics can increase thermal conductivity from 0.3 to 3, more than a tenfold improvement. It is mainly used in PVC plastics, polyurethane plastics, PA plastics, functional plastics, etc.
5. Other application areas: Nano aluminum nitride can be used in crucibles for smelting non-ferrous metals and semiconductor materials like gallium arsenide, evaporation boats, protective tubes for thermocouples, high-temperature insulation components, microwave dielectric materials, high-temperature and corrosion-resistant structural ceramics, and transparent aluminum nitride microwave ceramic products.
Packaging and Storage
This product is packaged in inert gas-filled plastic bags and stored sealed in a dry, cool environment. It should not be exposed to air to prevent oxidation and agglomeration due to moisture, which would affect dispersibility and performance.
