High-purity nano cerium oxide is prepared by plasma vapor-phase combustion method, featuring high purity, small particle size, uniform distribution, large specific surface area, clean surface, no residual impurities, low bulk density, and easy dispersion. It is insoluble in water and alkali, slightly soluble in acid. Under conditions of 2000°C temperature and 15MPa pressure, it can be reduced by hydrogen to form cerium(III) oxide. Its properties make it suitable for use as polishing materials, catalysts, catalyst supports (additives), UV absorbers, fuel cell electrolytes, automotive exhaust absorbers, electronic ceramics, etc.

1. As a glass additive, high-purity nano cerium oxide can absorb ultraviolet and infrared light and has been applied in automotive glass. It not only blocks UV rays but also reduces interior temperature, thereby saving air conditioning energy consumption.
2. Applied in automotive exhaust purification catalysts, it helps prevent large amounts of vehicle emissions from being released into the air.
3. Used in pigments, it can color plastics and is also applicable in coatings, inks, paper, and other industries.
4. Its application in polishing materials has been widely recognized, particularly for high-precision demands such as polishing silicon wafers and sapphire single crystal substrates.
5. Additionally, nano cerium oxide can be used in hydrogen storage materials, thermoelectric materials, ceramic capacitors, piezoelectric ceramics, nano cerium oxide silicon carbide abrasives, fuel cell raw materials, gasoline catalysts, certain permanent magnet materials, various alloy steels, and non-ferrous metals.
Packaging and Storage
