Water treatment agent

It is an aqueous solution with strong oxidizing properties and is widely used in chemical engineering, water treatment, herbicide manufacturing, and other fields.

1. Basic Properties

- Appearance: Colorless or pale yellow transparent liquid (colorless when high purity, impurities may cause coloration).

- Solubility: Easily soluble in water, with a solubility of approximately 100g/100mL water at 20°C, and solution concentration can exceed 50%.

- Oxidizing Property: Strong oxidizing agent; mixing with reducing agents (such as sulfur, phosphorus, or organic substances) may cause combustion.

2. Main Applications

- Herbicide: Main component of non-selective herbicides, effective by disrupting the redox reactions in plant cells.

- Bleaching Agent: Used in the bleaching processes of paper and textile industries (requires controlled conditions to avoid side reactions).

- Chemical Raw Material: Used in the preparation of chlorine dioxide (ClO₂, applied in drinking water disinfection) and others.
