2BV series water ring vacuum pumps feature an integrated structure—a single-stage pump with the motor and pump on the same axis. The shaft seal uses mechanical sealing, offering simple structure, easy installation, oil-free operation, and excellent performance.
2BV series water ring vacuum pumps and compressors are widely used in petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, food, sugar industries, and other fields. Since the gas compression process is isothermal during operation, they are less prone to accidents when compressing and extracting flammable and explosive gases, making their application even broader.

2BV type water ring vacuum pump equipment installation
1. Installation of water ring vacuum pump: When installing the water ring vacuum pump and compressor, the installation surface must be level, and the pump must be securely fastened with bolts through the holes at the base corners. To prevent welding slag from entering the vacuum pump during installation, a filter screen should be installed on the suction pipe.
2, Installation of water ring vacuum pump gas-water separator: The gas-water separator can be directly installed on the exhaust port of the water ring vacuum pump and securely fixed with bolts. The gas-water separator has a pipeline connected to the pump, supplying the required amount of working water for the water ring vacuum pump. The remaining working water is supplied by the water supply pipe, with the flow rate adjusted by a valve on the pipeline. A check valve should be installed on the suction pipe of the water ring vacuum pump or compressor to prevent water from returning to the system under the pressure of the exhaust pipe when the pump is stopped.
2BV type water ring vacuum pump startup and shutdown
1, Water ring vacuum pump startup: For pumps that have been idle for a long time, manually rotate the pump several times before starting to ensure there is no jamming or other damage inside the pump.
Start the water ring vacuum pump in the following order: (1) Open the exhaust pipe valve. (2) Start the motor (pay attention to the correct rotation direction of the motor). (3) Quickly open the water supply pipe. Gradually increase the water supply until it meets the specified requirements (ensure the vacuum pump does not run dry).
2, Water ring vacuum pump shutdown: Shut down the water ring vacuum pump in the following order: (1) (If there is a valve on the suction pipe) Close the valve on the suction pipe. (2) Close the water supply pipe and quickly stop the vacuum pump. (3) After shutdown, drain the water from the pump cavity to prevent blade and pump shaft breakage upon restarting.
