Winch-type hoist

The hoist-type gate hoist uses steel cables or steel cable pulley sets as lifting devices connected to the gate. Through a gear transmission system, the drum winds or releases the steel cables to drive the lifting and lowering mechanism, also known as a fixed wire rope hoist. It has a relatively simple structure, is easy to manufacture, and convenient to maintain and repair, making it widely used for the operation of various types of gates. Hoist-type gate hoists are divided into single-point and double-point lifting types. The double-point hoist-type gate hoist connects two single-point hoists together via a connecting shaft for synchronous operation, which can be designed with drive on one side or both sides. Typically, one hoist-type gate hoist is used for one gate, installed on the pier above the gate slot. The capacity of hoist-type gate hoists produced and put into operation in China has reached: gate lifting force of 6000 kN, hoisting stroke of 30 m, and gate lifting force of 4000 kN, hoisting stroke of 120 m.
