        Usage Method and Precautions USAGE & CAUTION
        Due to varying raw water properties, on-site debugging or beaker tests should be conducted under different conditions to obtain the optimal usage conditions and dosage for the best treatment effect.
   
      1. Before use, add this product to the dissolving tank at a certain concentration (5-30%), inject tap water and stir to fully dissolve, let stand until it becomes a reddish-brown liquid, then dilute with water to the desired concentration for coagulation.
       2. Determine the dosage based on raw water properties through production debugging or beaker tests, observing the formation of flocs. Water treatment plants can refer to the dosage of other previously used agents. Under the same conditions, the dosage of this product is roughly equivalent to that of solid polyaluminum chloride and about 1/3-1/4 that of solid aluminum sulfate. If a liquid product was used previously, adjust based on the corresponding agent concentration, generally at a weight ratio of 1:3.
      3. During use, pump the prepared solution into a metering tank and add it to the raw water for coagulation via metering.
      4. Generally, prepare and use on the same day. Tap water is required for preparation, and slight sedimentation is normal.
      5. Pay attention to the hydraulic conditions and floc formation during the three stages of the coagulation process.
        Coagulation stage: The agent is injected into the coagulation tank and rapidly coagulates with the raw water to form fine flocs in a very short time. The water becomes more turbid, requiring intense turbulent flow. In beaker tests, stir rapidly (250-300 rpm) for 10-30 seconds, generally not exceeding 2 minutes.
        Flocculation stage: The flocs grow and thicken, requiring appropriate turbulence and sufficient residence time (10-15 minutes). In the later stage, a large number of flocs can be observed aggregating and slowly settling, forming a clear surface layer. In beaker tests, stir at 150 rpm for about 6 minutes, then at 60 rpm for about 4 minutes until suspended.
    Sedimentation stage: The flocculated particles settle in the sedimentation tank, requiring slow water flow. Inclined tube (plate) sedimentation tanks are generally used for efficiency (preferably using air flotation to separate flocs). Large flocs are blocked by the inclined tube (plate) walls and deposited at the bottom, with clear water on top. The remaining small, low-density flocs continue to collide and grow while slowly settling, with minimal residual turbidity in the later stage. In beaker tests, stir slowly at 20-30 rpm for 5 minutes, then let stand for 10 minutes to measure residual turbidity.
    6. Enhanced filtration, mainly through reasonable selection of filter layer structure and filter aids, improves the removal rate of the filter tank, which is an important measure for enhancing water quality.
    7. This product is used for environmental protection and industrial wastewater treatment. The usage method is largely the same as in water treatment plants. For treating raw water with high chroma, high COD, and BOD, the effect is excellent when combined with aids.    
    8. For enterprises using chemical coagulation methods, existing equipment requires no major modifications; only a dissolving tank needs to be added to use this product.
    9. This product must be stored in a dry, moisture-proof, and heat-avoiding place (<80°C). Do not damage the packaging; the product can be stored long-term.
    10. This product must be dissolved before use. Dissolving equipment and dosing facilities should be made of corrosion-resistant materials.
   
    I. Product Introduction
    Polyferric Sulfate (PFS) is a new, non-toxic, and efficient inorganic polymer flocculant widely promoted and applied domestically and internationally. It features strong flocculation, large flocs, fast sedimentation, and low dosage, with high removal rates for COD, BOD, SS, chroma, and some heavy metal ions.
   
    II. Main Uses and Application Scope
    This product is mainly used for drinking water and industrial wastewater treatment.
    Suitable for drinking water in water treatment plants, industrial production water, factory and mine sewage treatment, and other wastewater treatment.
   
    III. Product Structure
    General formula: [Fe2(OH)n(SO4)3-n/2]m
    Type: Liquid, appearance: reddish-brown viscous liquid.

    VI. Usage Method
    1. For water treatment plants and industrial water stations, the usage method and process are the same as conventional flocculants like basic aluminum chloride.
    2. For wastewater treatment, the usage for low-concentration wastewater is the same as in 1; for high-concentration wastewater, adjust the pH to 4-11 before dosing. After dosing, lime milk (5-10%) can be used as a coagulant aid, adjusting the pH to 8-9 for optimal treatment effect.
    3. PFS can be dosed as the original solution or diluted into a working solution (about 3 times dilution, not too dilute), depending on dosing convenience. After dosing, stir thoroughly to mix evenly.
    4. The dosage of PFS varies with the properties of the treated water and effluent requirements. The optimal dosage should be determined through experiments.
   
    VII. Product Packaging, Transportation, and Storage
    1. This product is packaged in anti-corrosion barrels or tank containers.
    2. During transportation, prevent collisions to avoid leaks, spills, and losses, which could affect environmental hygiene and cause product loss.
    3. User anti-corrosion tank storage method: Place tanks or barrels in a cool, leak-proof area.
   
    VIII. Other Matters
    Dissolving equipment should be corrosion-resistant. Diluted solutions should not be stored for more than 24 hours to prevent hydrolysis and loss of efficacy.
