Application Range of Screw Press:

1. Juice extraction from various pomace, sea buckthorn berries, crushed ginger, bamboo shoots, and other fruits and vegetables;
2. Dehydration of fermented rice bran distillers' grains, fermented cassava residue; dehydration of Gynostemma pentaphyllum, stevia, cabbage, sedge grass, celery, Chinese herbal residue, chrysanthemums, etc.; and dehydration of wood, wheat straw, rice straw, reeds, etc.;
3. Pressing and dewatering in environmental protection industries such as market waste and domestic waste;

Equipment Composition:

This equipment mainly consists of a frame, feeding part, pressing part, transmission part, and electrical control part. The double screw includes counter-rotating conveying screw and pressing screw; besides being equipped with a powerful feeding device and anti-reverse device, the single screw press also has its screw divided into three parts: feeding screw, pressing screw, and squeezing screw.

Working Principle:
The material to be processed is evenly conveyed to the feed port of the screw press by means of conveyors or other tools. After being squeezed by the screw blades and filtered by the screen, water or juice flows through the screen into the water collection pan below the machine and is then discharged through pipelines. The separated solids are discharged from the rear end. Different materials require selecting different screens (aperture 0.1-1mm), different screw rotation speeds, and appropriate adjustment of the outlet dryness and wetness regulating device to achieve good production capacity and desired dryness of the residue (or by adjusting the outlet dryness and wetness regulating device and appropriate screw rotation speed to achieve a good combination of dehydration effect and production capacity). The higher the fiber content, the greater the production capacity, and the higher the dryness of the dehydrated residue; the smaller the screen aperture, the smaller the particle diameter of the processed material.

This series of presses are equipped with hydraulic or manual dryness and wetness regulating devices at the residue discharge end.
